Kredens
About
Two people in the kitchen, two front of house, one bread oven. On Chrobrego street since 2018.
Kredens is run by Marta and Piotr. Marta cooks — ten years in hotel kitchens before this, from which she mostly remembers what she does not want to do. Piotr runs the floor and the wine list; the twelve suppliers and no wholesaler rule was his idea.
Where the produce comes from
- Trout — a farm in Kłodzko, delivered Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Goat’s cheese and curd — a farm below Bystrzyca Kłodzka.
- Flour — the mill in Sobótka; it becomes bread, pierogi and dumplings.
- Vegetables — three farms around Oława and Trzebnica; whatever is in the field is on the menu.
- Duck — a single breeder near Milicz, which is why the duck sometimes sells out on Sundays.
The room
Thirty-four seats at nine tables, including one long table for ten by the window. We have a high chair, and a pram fits through the front door. Wednesdays after 8 pm tend to be quiet; Saturdays from 1 pm do not.
